LeEco All-Metal Earphones Review: Decent Sound Quality in a Well-Built Package

In-ear earphones come with their own set of positives and negatives. But what happens when a company makes a set that has been priced competitively and is actually great in terms of styling? That is exactly what LeEco has done with their all-metal earphones which are priced at Rs 1,499.

Right out of the box you will appreciate the metal finish along with a neatly placed copper ring that gives the earphones a premium yet classy look. The wiring is plenty, measuring 1.1 metres in length and is made up of flexible thermoplastic for added strength and do not get tangled easily.

The all-metal design approach continues on the inside of the earphones too as it features a metallic resonance cavity. The Driver casings are designed and made with sound-insulating material to reduce external noise and minimise sound leakage. Even the filters are made of metallic fibre.

The three-key in-line control allows for answering calls and adjusting volume levels and have a good tactile feedback. The 3.5 mm audio jack is gold plated and also encased in a metal housing.

Inside the box, you also get a leather pouch which snaps close with the help of magnets and is a good way to carry your earphones wherever you go. A total of three silica gel earbuds are offered in various sizes as well so that the user can choose whichever suits them the best.

The biggest question though is how the earphones sound and the answer to that is wonderful. The mid-range frequencies are delivered strongly and are suitable for most genres of music. Although, hardcore bass lovers will be left wanting a little bit more ‘thump’.

So it looks good, comes with a fancy carry bag and basically gets the job done for regular users who simply want good quality sound delivery from well-built, well-styled earphones.
